SVZ is a worldwide specialist in fruit & vegetable ingredients that are supplied to the global food industry. SVZ is an expert in red fruit, but also a significant player in tropical and subtropical fruit. Moreover we supply a range of vegetable products.
In addition to these ‘single’ ingredients, SVZ can develop customer specific compounds for direct use in end products. SVZ is also certified to produce organic products.

One of SVZ’s strengths is the product, market and production knowledge that was gathered during more than a century. SVZ is known to be a flexible partner whether it concerns a special product, packaging, delivery or requirements.
To guarantee the highest possible quality of the products, SVZ’s philosophy is to control the chain from soil to customer. As a consequence a global network of procurement offices is present with locations from the USA to China. The inspected raw materials are processed in one of the six production facilities of SVZ and the products are finally sold via one of the sales offices or agents. SVZ can deliver her products to the customers throughout the year, irrelevant of harvest period.
Worldwide sales are co-ordinated by SVZ in the Netherlands, whereas the US market is served by SVZ USA, based in Othello, Washington.
SVZ is based in Europe, USA, Africa, and Asia, with sales offices, purchase offices and production sites. SVZ has a total workforce 860 of which about 230 are located in the Netherlands.
SVZ is part of the Royal Cosun group. This group is a cooperative and other members of this group are Unifine Food & Bake Ingredients, Sensus (inulin and fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS)), Suiker Unie (sugar), Nedalco (alcohol production) and Aviko (potato products).
