SVZ donates to Education Fund Holy Family Care centre in South Africa

Traditionally, at the end of every year, SVZ donates money to charity. For this year, SVZ has chosen to donate money to the Education Fund Holy Family Care centre in Ofcolaco, Limpopo, South Africa. The aim of the foundation is to raise funds for the education of children living at the Holy Family Centre, who are infected with HIV or suffer from AIDS. Since the Centre started in 2001 children in the age from 3 months to 14-15 years old are taken care of at the Centre. Children in the lower ages visit crèche and primary school at the Centre or at the Dindinniefarm nearby. Most children at Ofcolaco are doing very well: some of them are finishing primary school and depending on there personal ability, prefer the challenge of a vocational training or university education. SVZ's donation will provide funding to make a continuation course available. For both SVZ and Netra Agro, South Africa is an important country for sourcing fruits and selling our products. The region of Limpopo is well known for producing apples, peaches, apricots and grapes. For SVZ and Netra Agro these are all essential fruits for our trade and end products. We believe it is important to support initiatives such as the Holy Family Care Centre in regions where we are active.
