Netra Agro (NA) is a 100% subsidiary of SVZ and belongs to the German Döhler Group, a leading developer, producer and marketer of technology-driven natural ingredients and ingredient systems.

NA’s core business is the (customized) sourcing and marketing of a wide range of mainly tropical fruits in various processed varieties and forms; IQF, purees and concentrates. NA also relieves the customer of all import tasks (documents, logistics etc.) and quality assurance (on-site audits, certification etc.).

Customers are mostly high-end food producers who place high demands on quality, availability and service.

The NA team operates from Breda and consists of 10-15 FTE: Back Office/Logistics, QA/QC, Finance and Sales.

Especially after the acquisition by Döhler, NA’s ambitions are challenging and focused on significant growth through the development of new markets and product/market combinations.

 

Your tasks & responsibilities include

As Area Sales Manager you are managing, maintaining and building new and existing customer relationships. You work closely together with the back office and quality department of Netra Agro and sales representatives of SVZ International and report to the General Manager of Netra Agro.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Set up & execute a yearly sales plan based on current customers & new prospects.
  • Establish new and manage existing customers to maximize sales growth in Europe. Meet or exceed sales revenue, pricing, margin, forecast targets, follow up on new offers and closing new deals.
  • Set up & keeping Customer Relationship Management up to date: customer/prospect contact, visit reports, opportunities, competition and relevant information.
  • Reporting & analyses sales (leads) based on volumes & pricing.
What do you bring with you?

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food technology, Commercial Economics or Business Administration
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a sales position, in preferably the food industry
  • Affinity with the trading food sector and the fruit industry (tropical/iqf)
  • Commercial drive and result oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, English and French
  • You are a real go-getter, positive, a team player based for action, catching the opportunities!
