Key Account Manager – Benelux- Scandinavia

Your tasks and responsibilities include

Do you have a background in Sales, food technology or functional ingredients with a strong commercial drive and do you want to work in a dynamic, international environment where sustainability is in our DNA?

As an Account Manager you are part of the commercial team, you work closely together with our Agro & Purchase -and Product Development department providing technological and application-oriented support to customers.

 

  • You will build and maintain our relationships with (key) accounts, realizing margin growth.Our client segment varies from beverage to dairy and savory business.
  • You manage the sales budget for your customers, create account plans and take care that forecasting is up to date to enable our factories to run their operations efficiently.
  • You will be responsible for securing new accounts by market research in collaboration with business intelligence and a close collaboration with Döhler Group.
  • You will negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts and other sales conditions.
  • You work closely together with our product development team to initiate and coordinate test phases and application research and write content for new applications.
  • You organise proactive meetings for our customers with a focus on innovation.
  • You will report to the Sales Team Lead North Europe.

 

What do you bring with you?
  • A Has or Economic related Bachelor’s degree and a strong commercial drive and/or proven experience, about 5 years, in a commercial role within the food industry (B2B).
  • Experience in the fruits and vegetable industry is a plus, as well as sales experience in beverage, dairy and ice cream sectors.
  • Strong & proven commercial and customer orientation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English, other languages are a big plus.
  • The ability and willingness to travel around 20 – 30%.
  • Your strengths lie in relationships, you are persuasive, creative and entrepreneurial but most of all, you are a team player.
  • Ease in MS Office applications to a good standard especially PowerPoint
